  • about the pajamas
    • what are your pajamas made of?
      • all of our pajamas are made of either 100% cotton flannel or 100% cotton poplin.  our tank tops are 92% cotton and 8% spandex.
    • what is the body of the pajamas like?
      • our pajama sets have a long-sleeve, notch collar top and pants with elastic in the back and a drawstring in the front. the pants can be cinched with the drawstring to your waist measurements, but then pulled off and on without untying due to the elastic back.
        the capri set is similar, but has short sleeves and a straighter leg, cropped pant.
        our low-rise pant has a slimmer, low-rise fit and has elastic around the entire waist as well as a front drawstring. these pants are narrower in the hip than our standed pajama pant, so some people go up a size.
        our shorts have a full elastic waist and no drawstring.
        the coordinating tank tops are slim and form fitting. some people choose to buy one size up in these if they want them a little looser.
        our two piece tank capri has a pull-on, tank style top and is paired with our popular capri pant.
        the tank style is a comfy, pull-on chemise that falls just below the knee. it's perfect for warm weather sleep
    • how can i tell if a particular pair of pajamas is flannel?
      • on the shop page, there are two print headings, flannel and non-flannel. the fabric swatches directly under each heading will only be available in that fabrication.
    • why can't i find many flannel pajamas on your site?
      • flannel is a seasonal fabric for us and we do not carry it year round. we typically sell flannel from september to january.
    • what is poplin?
      • poplin is a crisp, woven cotton that is similar to the fabric in men's dress shirts. because it is a woven fabric, and not a knit, it is not stretchy. our fabric is not pre-washed, but is treated in the production process to give it a soft finish. it will also continue to get softer as it is washed.
    • where are your pajamas made?
      • all of our pajamas are made locally in the san francisco bay area. although we import our fabric, all of our production is done in the united states.
    • why are your pajamas so expensive?
      • we proudly make all of our pajamas in the united states. keeping production local means that we pay more for labor than manufacturers who utilize overseas contractors. from the very beginning, we have always been committed to having our pajamas made in the u.s.a. it is extremely important to us and we hope others value domestic workmanship and jobs as well.
    • why can't I find all the print colors in the sleep shirts and capri sets?
      • our pajama sets typically are available in both colors (when two colors are offered).  all other sleepwear and robe styles are generally only available in one color.

    • what are the measurements of your pajamas?
      • please refer to our sizing guide for specific measurements.
    • how generous are your pajamas?
      • our pajamas are roomy and comfortable, and most customers find them to be more generous than other sleepwear companies.
    • do you make plus sizes?
      • unfortunately at this point we do not make plus sizes. extra-large is the largest size we currently make. it is our intention to expand the line and offer more sizes. however, because we are a small company, it will probably not be in the near future.
    • can men fit into your pajamas?
      • though we have had some petite men fit into our pjs, they are designed to fit a woman's body type. for example, the sleeve length will probably be short due to men having broader shoulders. in addition, our pjs do not have a fly.
